CBSE postpones the board exams considering the outbreak of Coronavirus
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting events, conferences and now the board exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that all forthcoming board exams have been postponed until March 31 due to the outbreak of Covid-19 coronavirus. CBSE has made the news announcement on their official twitter platform. CBSE tweeted, “All CBSE Class X and XII Board Examinations will continue to be held as per schedule. Class X Social Science Paper will be held tomorrow as per date sheet.” The ongoing evaluation of board exam papers have also been postponed also, the reexamination for the Northeast candidates will also be rescheduled. CBSE stated that they will announce the fresh dates for the board exams by 31st March. Supervisors can reschedule the evaluation to April 1 onwards, unless otherwise informed by the board.
